This historical wonder of the Kettle Valley Railway is a 24 km tour that will take you across 18 trestles and through 2 tunnels. This scenic and relatively flat trail displays spectacular views of the Canyon, the trestles, Kelowna, and the surrounding area. A must do for young and old visiting the Okanagan!
This Guided Tour includes the rent of a tour bicycle, a helmet, a bottle of water, and transportation from your accommodation in Kelowna or West Kelowna to the start of the tour at the Myra Station parking lot as well as transportation to your accommodation after you have finished your tour.
Your 4 hour tour will start at Myra Canyon at 9 am, or at 1:30pm, so we will pick you up at your accommodation before this start time. (Exact time to be confirmed.)

Bikes
Our tour rental bicycles are our new, quality-branded comfort bikes, which are ideal for the trail. And ONLY for the Myra Canyon trail. Our bikes can not be used to explore other trails or other parts of Kelowna.
Our bikes are available in a variety of sizes and our trained staff will be on hand to advise and assist. The bicycles, which have a comfort seat, front suspension and in-seat suspension, are fully maintained and serviced on a daily basis.
Tour 2
Full Day Tour with Transportation
Self-Guided Full Day Trip from Kelowna to Penticton HISTORICAL KVR TRAIL
This 74 km tour starts at the Myra Station parking lot, after which you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Okanagan, learn about the history of the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) on the interactive trail, and ride over 19 trestles and through 3 tunnels! The tour will continue to Chute Lake (about halfway) where you can stop for a rest or for lunch (not included in the price) at Chute Lake Lodge (please check their availability)..
Beyond Chute Lake, the historical panels will teach you about the many rock ovens that were used to cook for the workers building the KVR, and you will encounter the 489 m Adria tunnel. The KVR then flows through the Naramata Bench where you will be greeted by mesmerizing views of the wineries and Okanagan Lake.
You will finish your tour at D’Angelo Estate Winery in Penticton, where you can enjoy a wine tasting to finish your day (included in the price).
The trail has a slight decline throughout the entire 74 km, making it a great excursion for a wide range of people. Our Self-Guided Tour will have you follow the KVR trail the whole way—except for the final 500 m to reach D’Angelo Winery. Due to the distance and the condition of the trail, we do not recommend this tour for young children. Youth needs to be at least 5’ (152 cm) tall to fit a tour bicycle.

We will provide you with a tour bicycle, a helmet, and a pannier with spare parts, tools, a first aid kit, 2 bottles of water, and 2 snacks.
This Self-Guided Tour includes transportation from your accommodation in Kelowna or West Kelowna to Myra Canyon and transportation from D’Angelo Winery back to your accommodation. You will start your tour at Myra Canyon at 9 am, so we will pick you up at your accommodation before this start time. (Exact time to be confirmed.) You will finish your tour at approximately 5 pm.

Tour 3
Full Day Tour with Transportation
Bike + Wine Full Day Tour: Guided Magnificent Myra Canyon Trestles, Tunnel and Wine Tasting Tour
In the morning, you will start your day with a Guided Bicycle Tour of the magnificent Myra Canyon Trestles. This historical wonder of the Kettle Valley Railway is a 24 km trail that will take you across 18 trestles and through 2 tunnels. The relatively flat trail displays spectacular views of Kelowna and its surrounding environment, while its interactive, historical panels keep it exciting for the whole duration. This is a must do for anyone visiting the Okanagan!
After the bicycle tour, we will drive you to the first winery, Meadow Vista Honey Wines, where you will enjoy lunch at their Bistro. In the afternoon, we will put together a wine tour for you with a visit to three or four wineries. Some of the wineries we frequent are, for example, The View Winery & Vineyard, The Vibrant Vine Winery and Camelot Vineyards.
This Guided Bicycle Tour includes bike rental, the use of a helmet, a bottle of water, and the service of a guide. Pick-up and drop-off transportation from your accommodation in Kelowna or West Kelowna is included as well as transportation throughout the day to and from Myra Canyon and transportation to the wineries. You will start your tour at Myra Canyon at 9 am, so we will pick you up before this start time. (Exact time to be confirmed.) The tasting fees at the wineries are included, but lunch is not.

There will be two sizes Medium (5’4 – 5’9 / 165 cm – 175cm ) and XL (5’10 - 6’6 / 180 – 200 cm).

Tour 2, 3 and 4 reservations be booked 48 hours in advance.
All reservations made within 48 hours, or cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice are non-refundable.
All changes with less than 48 hours' notice will be assessed a $25 fee.
